Two independent servers take part in the process of website editing:

editor's server - accessible to authorised content managers only - this server is used for changing and updating the website,
www server - accessible for all Internet users - this server is used for publishing the website.

It takes only one mouseclick by the editor to decide when the changes and updates made (on the editor's server) are visible to all Internet users (on www server).
